gIOCA-C21h - unique fibre synthetised with negatively-ionized fine particles
and carbon atoms by applying nanotechnology offers physiological and biomedical
functions
@Two main physical and biomedical factors for the homeostasis maintenance
in human body are negative irons and far-infrared radiation (FIR) which
may provide hormetic and diathermic effect respectively. These hormetic
and diathermic effects are clinically beneficial for various functions
in the living body. Namely, they may encourage metabolic functions and
vitalize weakened immune functions in human body.
@The main components of the functional fibre of IOCA-C21 may produce negative ions and FIR originated and induced from ore (tourmaline)
and Bincho-Charcoal which have grained down to corpuscle (nanometric size)
by using the nanotechnological procedure.
@IOCA-C21 fibre, emitting negative ions and FIR, may work on metabolic functions
of living body and activate immune functions. For instance, it can enhance
the non-specific immune function in the immunological surveillance system
that activates macrophages and natural killer (NK) cells of immunocompetent
cells.
@IOCA-C21 fibre is clinically useful for human body having sensitive skin and/or
several skin disorders. The epoch-making material may constantly give the
both negative ions and IFR to skin, so that the skin may be revived with
moisture and shine.

‘ |
Immune system activation
IOCA-C21 fibre enhances the non-specific immune function which is one of the immunological
surveillance systems, where especially activates macrophage and NK cell
functions in immunocompent cells. Therefore, it can be commendable to human
having sensitive skin and/or skin disorders.
Feasibility data from human subject research

who had atopic dermatitis. Picture on the left showed the back of knee
before wearing supporters, and picture on the right showed the same 3 days
after wearing them.
Black spots almost disappeared, and the boy stopped scratching which he
previously did unconsciously.
Illustration B) IOCA-C21 pajama was worn by a 12-year-old boy who had chronic
skin disorder. The following pictures shows change in appearance during
7 days before and after wearing the pajama.
Red spots and scratch were decreased by wearing the pajama for 7 days.
Probably the boy didn't scratch while sleeping. He was happy with its soft
touch.

Illustration C) The effect of IOCA-C21 cloth on human immune system was
determined in terms of number of monocytes, lymphocytes and leukocytes
by 10 medical students (5 males and 5 females) of Gifu University.
On the first day of clinical test, subjects spent a normal time with normal
clothing, and their blood was collected at 14:00 to be tested. On the second
day, their blood was again collected at 14:00 after they spent a normal
time. Then their cloth was changed in IOCA-C21 cloth. On the third day,
their blood was again collected at 14:00 after they spent a normal time
in IOCA-C21 cloth.
The result of clinical test:
As the result of clinical test with 10 healthy subjects during those 3
days, number of monocytes was increased 1.3 % on average. This suggests
the possibility of IOCA-C21 cloth to activate human immune system. |

Blood circulation promotion through diathermic effect
IOCA-C21 emits Far-infrared radiation, a solar ray with wavelength between 4 and
22 microns which is called grearing lighth, being essential for the growth
of living things to produce diathermic effect. An optimum range of the
rearing light for human body is with wavelength between 5 and 10 microns,
reaching deeper parts of the body to convert into thermal energy. The body
is warmed from inside, which then promotes vasodilatation, blood flow increase,
and blood circulation. Consequently, blood circulative disorders such as
hypertension and arteriosclerosis may be prevented. Moreover, body cells
may be activated by fresh oxygen fed through stimulated blood circulation
to reproduce ATP energy in the body.
Far-infrared radiation is an essential solar ray for living things without
side effect.
Test data No. 1
Thermal property of IOCA-C21 was evaluated by heating samples with IR radiation
and measuring the degree of heat storage and release by a thermographer.
Samples: @@(A) 100 % IOCA-C21 cloth (B) 50 % IOCA-C21 cloth (C) Control
Procedure:
Samples were placed on a flat table to be exposed to IR radiation from
a height of 60 cm. The change of surface temperature by heating and heat
release after stopped heating were determined via thermographic image.
Areas of each sample were framed with white line to compare them easily
in accordance with colour bar on the right side which indicates average,
minimum and maximum temperature of sample (A) (B) and (C).
|
|
Result:
Average temperature increase by (A) 100% IOCA-C21 and (B) 50% IOCA-C21
was 5.8 and 4.3 respectively in terms of heat storage by 60 seconds after
exposure to IR radiation. On the other hands, the same by (C) control was
2.1. It suggests the superiority of IOCA-C21 cloth in terms of heat storage
and release.

Metabolism promotion through homeostatic effect
Human body is composed of about 60 % water including bodily fluid and water
molecules cluster of blood. Negative ions emitted by IOCA-C21 may be absorbed by human body to transform the body water to mist-like
form (of which phenomenon is called gLenard effecth). Negatively ionized
body water (bodily fluid, blood, lymph fluid, etc.) is circulated in the
body to deacidify the whole body water, which may normalize blood circulation,
blood viscosity, blood flow, etc. This blood normalization may be accelerated
by synergic effects of negative ions and far-infrared radiation.
Good blood circulation activates metabolic functions as well as division
and physiology of cells (epidermal cells, fibroblast, immunological surveillance
system, etc.). As a result, three major body systems (including nerve system,
internal secretion system, and immune system) may be activated to maintain
homeostasis and healthy body with resistance to diseases.
Test data
Number of negative ions in the presence or absence of 100 % IOCA-C21 cloth
in room was determined by Ecoholistic's ion counter EB-12A with ambient
temperature of 24.6 and humidity of 56%. Average ions in the presence
of 100 % IOCA-C21 cloth was 1510 ions/cc, while the same in the absence
was 43 ions per/cc.

Possible anticancer effect
It has been discovered that some nameless species of bacteria exist in
Bicho-Chacoal as shown in the following microscopic images dyed with phenosafranine
(10 ~ 100 = 1000). (investigated by the national institute of advanced
industrial science and technology, Japan)
Experimentation to check any of effect of these bacteria on sarcoma was
carried out. The following pictures show a series of sarcomas in original
state (upper) and the same 28 days after these bacteria were injected to
them (lower). Shrunk sarcomas may suggest possible anticancer effect of
these bacteria.

Fibre, gIOCA-C21h used in this item has been approved by International
Health Association (IHA).
IHA aims at contribution to the improvement of health, welfare and quality
of life for people, as well as enlightenment, guidance and prevention of
not only lifestyle diseases and allergy diseases but also growing emotional
disorder of children and youngster through medical approach and study.
IHA's purpose of activity
We have acquired convenient and hygiene life environment backed by the
progress of civilization and the development of science technology, where
many diseases have been treatable and average life expectancy has been
extended. On the contrary, people living in some countries have been increasingly
suffering civilization diseases such as lifestyle diseases or allergy diseases.
Advanced countries including Japan began facing important issues of lifestyle
diseases which have been expanded to youngsters and the increase in allergy
diseases. Atopic dermatitis patients, for example, are suffered with the
appearance of atopic skin symptoms which may lead to bullying (particularly
among children) or to isolation from other people even among adults. Some
of asthma patients are also isolated from normal social life regardless
of their age.
Under such backgrounds, new business has been created to prevent and treat
such diseases as providing various articles and services. And the media
has picked up information regarding diseases and health.
Normally, consumers must be given a certain benefit by using information,
articles and services. However, it is regretful that a few articles or
services are full of commercialism and some media provide information just
to catch onto health fad.
We, incorporated nonprofit organization of International Health Association
(IHA) shall investigate, study, illumine and solve these issues overall,
and shall act for the purpose of contribution to the improvement of health,
welfare and quality of life of people through establishing guidelines with
respect to products and services to maintain and improve health.
Moreover, we understand that truancy and withdrawal are modern problems
involving children or youngsters who should create future society. And
we came to know that it is necessary to tackle and solve such problems
comprehensively with medical approach, although it is not yet developed
sufficiently.
In order to provide mental and physical health support to children and
youngsters, we have established Heart Care Center that works on the improvement
of quality of life of them including their family and affiliates.
